The study titled "Lexical and Grammatical Meanings in the Song Lyrics of the Album No’o by Muria Mahardika" aims to describe the lexical and grammatical meanings within the lyrics and explain their roles in constructing the overall meaning of the songs. This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach, utilizing data analysis techniques that include data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Data validity was verified through prolonged engagement and theoretical triangulation. The research data consist of the lyrics from the album No’o by Muria Mahardika, with the researcher serving as the primary instrument, supported by data tabulation. The results reveal a total of 209 data points, comprising 115 instances of lexical meaning and 94 instances of grammatical meaning. The predominance of lexical meaning indicates that the choice of diction plays a more significant role than grammatical meaning construction in conveying the messages, emotions, and experiences embedded in the lyrics. These findings underscore the importance of the lexical aspect in shaping the meaning of song lyrics. This study contributes to enriching semantic analysis in popular music and serves as a reference for linguistic research and Indonesian language instruction that utilizes song lyrics as a medium for teaching meaning.
