Vocational high schools are secondary education institutions that aim to prepare students to enter the world of work. To achieve this goal, technical schools (SMK) as educational institutions must be able to provide skills that suit the skills needs of the world of work. With the implementation of the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC), World Trade Organization (WTO), General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade (GATT), and the 4th Industrial Revolution 4.0, the development of the world of work has progressed very rapidly. This introduction is a challenge for vocational school graduates to utilize their skills and take advantage of career opportunities. To maintain the existence of vocational schools and strengthen the trust of parents and students, we must improve the education system, especially vocational schools. The growing self-confidence of students' parents is evidenced by the promise of future careers with specific skills suitable for advancement in the world of work.
