This study aims to analyse the role of training and human resource development (HRD) in improving employee work productivity. The research used a quantitative approach with data collected from 146 respondents through questionnaires distributed to employees in various sectors. The data were analysed using descriptive statistics, reliability tests (Cronbach’s Alpha), correlation, and multiple regression analysis. The results show that both training and HRD significantly affect employee productivity, both partially and simultaneously. The simple regression test reveals that training explains 91.4% of productivity variation (R² = 0.914), while the multiple regression model including HRD explains 91.6% (R² = 0.916). The regression equation obtained is . Both training (t = 10.305, p < 0.001) and HRD (t = 2.168, p = 0.032) have significant positive effects. The simultaneous F-test (F = 782.7, p < 0.001) indicates that training and HRD jointly improve productivity. These findings confirm that systematic training and sustainable HRD programs are crucial for organizational productivity.
