PELATIHAN PENULISAN DONGENG BAGI SISWA KELAS 5 SDN SERPONG 04 KOTA TANGERANG SELATAN

Abstract

In learning process at school, students are expected to develop an interest in writing short stories. One form of short story is a fairy tale. As one of the mandatory materials in learning Indonesian Language and Literature, it is better for teacher assigns students from an early age to practice writing fairy tales. It can be started from elementary school students of grade 5. The most important thing here the students understand the elements that must be contained in the fairy tale. In fact, errors often occur in the writing of fairy tales, for example the application of the theme, incorrect standard spelling, incorrect sentence structure, and error in word choice. Seeing this fact, a team of lecturers and students of the Indonesian Literature Study Program, Faculty of Literature, University of Pamulang plans to conduct training activities with the theme "Training for Writing Fairy Tales for Students at SDN Serpong 04, South Tangerang City". This activity prioritizes real activities for elementary school students who can provide benefits as knowledge about training in writing good and true fairy tales. With this community service activity carried out by the academic community of Pamulang University, especially the Indonesian Literature Study Program, it is hoped that it can become a capital as a real role in practicing knowledge to meet the needs of people's lives, especially grade 5 students at SDN Serpong 04, South Tangerang City, Banten.
