Sistem Pemilah Limbah Organik dan Anorganik Berbasis IoT untuk Bank Sampah di Smp Terpadu Al-Qudwah

Smart bin currently used are generally separated for organic and non-organic waste, but in practice, many people still make mistakes in determining the type of waste according to its category. The purpose of this study is to design a smart bin, namely a smart bin designed to sort organic and inorganic waste automatically. The electronic components use an ESP32 microcontroller, capacitive, inductive, and ultrasonic proximity sensors, servo motors, and more. The materials used are plywood, nails, and wood. This research method uses quantitative with experimental research, conducted at Al-Qudwah Integrated Junior High School, specifically for grade 9 Putri 1. All female students were very satisfied with the existence of this smart bin; however, in black box testing, this smart bin functions, but some cases of sorting are less accurate. Such as leaf litter that should be included in organic but is sometimes detected as inorganic.
