Rancang Bangun Sistem Pintu Otomatis Berbasis IoT With Fingerprint And Vibration Sensors Untuk Keamanan Cerdas

This research is motivated by the limitations of room security systems that still use conventional keys, making them vulnerable to burglary and not yet supporting remote monitoring. This research aims to design and build an Internet of Things (IoT)-based automatic door security system to improve access security and the effectiveness of room surveillance. The method used is experimental research with a prototype approach through the stages of needs analysis, system design, hardware and software implementation, and testing using the black box method. The system was developed using an ESP32 microcontroller integrated with a fingerprint sensor for access authentication, a vibration sensor to detect burglary attempts, a PIR sensor to detect motion, and a Telegram Bot as a notification and remote control medium. The results of the study show that the system is able to control door access automatically, detect suspicious activity, and send real-time notifications to users. Thus, the designed system can improve room security compared to conventional systems and provide a more effective, modern, and responsive security solution based on IoT technology.
