Analisis dan Implikasi Hukum Penundaan Kewajiban Pembayaran Hutang Pt Amarta Karya (Persero) Terhadap Kreditur dan Pengembangan Infrastruktur di Indonesia

Abstract

PT Amarta Karya (Persero), a state-owned enterprise (SOE) in the field of infrastructure construction, filed for filed for Postponement of Debt Payment Obligations (PKPU) or Debt Restructuring with the Central Jakarta Commercial Court in 2023. This study analyzes the legal implications of this PKPU on creditors and infrastructure development in Indonesia. The research method employed is a normative legal research with a conceptual approach and using secondary data. Secondary data is collected through literature studies, regulations, and court decisions. The results of the study show that PT Amarta Karya's PKPU has complex legal implications for creditors and infrastructure development in Indonesia. Creditors face the risk of delayed payments and potential financial losses. Infrastructure development in Indonesia could be hampered due to project completion delays and decreased investor confidence.
