Abstract

Based on observations, the performance of employees has decreased during a pandemic. Leadership style shows the performance of employees who work in teams so that the system in the organization can run well. Besides leadership, motivation can direct people to carry out an activity. Organizational commitment is the factor that will create more sufficient bonds between employees with institutions. The research objective is to determine the relationship between leadership style, motivation, and employee performance. This study used the partial least square structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) analysis. The results of the data analysis show that performance is positively influenced by leadership, motivation, and organizational commitment. Employee performance can be improved by paying attention to the factors that affect leadership style, motivation, and organizational commitment


Abstrak

Berdasarkan hasil observasi diketahui bahwa kinerja karyawan di sejumlah perusahaan cenderung menurun pada masa pandemi. Gaya kepemimpinan menunjukkan kinerja karyawan yang bekerja di tim, sehingga sistem dalam organisasi dapat berjalan dengan baik. Selain kepemimpinan, motivasi merupakan dorongan yang dapat mengarahkan manusia melakukan suatu kegiatan. Komitmen organisasi merupakan faktor yang dapat diperhatikan organisasi dalam menciptakan keterikatan antara karyawan dengan organisasi. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengetahui hubungan antara gaya kepemimpinan, motivasi dan dimensi komitmen organisasi dengan kinerja karyawan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian survey dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan analisis data SEM-PLS. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa kinerja dipengaruhi secara positif oleh kepemimpinan, motivasi dan komitmen organisasi. Kinerja karyawan dapat ditingkatkan dengan memperhatikan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kepemimpinan motivasi dan komitmen organisasi.
