Pengaruh Informasi di Media Sosial Instagram terhadap Kesadaran Politik Gen Z di Kota Serang

This study aims to analyze the influence of information on Instagram social media on the politics of Generation Z (Gen Z). The method used is quantitative with data collection through a Google Form-based questionnaire. The data obtained were analyzed using SEM-PLS software to test the validity of the research model. Respondents in this study consisted of 26 individuals representing Gen Z. This study identified five main variables, namely participation, openness, conversation, community, and interconnection, which were used to measure the influence of information on Instagram on Gen Z's political awareness. The results of the analysis show that information obtained through Instagram social media has a positive and significant influence on Gen Z's political awareness, so that the research hypothesis can be accepted. These findings underline the importance of Instagram's role as an effective platform in increasing political awareness among Gen Z.
