Dilema Pembangunan Politik: Pertumbuhan Ekonomi Vs Keadilan Politik Di Era Modernisasi

Abstract

This research analyzes the dilemma of political development in Indonesia which is characterized by rapid economic growth but is not accompanied by an increase in equitable political justice in the era of modernization. Using a qualitative approach with case studies, this research explores how the process of modernization and industrialization impacts the distribution of power, political participation, and access to justice. The findings show that there are significant economic disparities, oligarchic dominance, and institutional weaknesses that hinder the realization of political justice. Economic growth driven by modernization and industrialization, without being balanced by pro-justice policies and strengthening democratic institutions, actually strengthens unequal power structures and threatens sustainable development. This research highlights the importance of inclusive development that pays attention to the distribution of wealth and fair access for all levels of society so that economic growth can have a positive impact on political justice in Indonesia.
