Abstract

In the midst of the government's efforts to simplify the tax system, other challenges have emerged, especially related to people's digital literacy. There are still many people who are not used to using digital technology to fulfil their tax obligations, including registering for NPWP online through the DGT portal. This Community Service is carried out and shown to MSME actor partners in order to support the development of the application of Accounting Science. Especially in understanding the importance of the Taxpayer Identification Number (NPWP), its benefits, and how to register independently through the DGT Online portal. Taxpayers no longer need to have a separate tax identity number, thus reducing the risk of data errors or duplication. This activity also provides information related to the policy of matching the Population Identification Number (NIK) into NPWP in accordance with the Minister of Finance Regulation Number 112/PMK.03/2022. Showing an increase in participants' understanding of the importance of NPWP and its registration steps. Participants responded positively to interactive delivery methods and supported by visual media such as presentation slides and video tutorials. An integrated system helps encourage taxpayers to more easily carry out their obligations, such as reporting and paying taxes. Through this activity, taxpayers are expected to be able to utilize technology to support better and efficient tax governance and have a significant impact by increasing public compliance with tax obligations can be categorized as successful in increasing participants' awareness and understanding of the importance of NPWP, although there is still room for improvement in future implementation.

Abstrak

 Di tengah upaya pemerintah untuk menyederhanakan sistem perpajakan, tantangan lain muncul, terutama terkait dengan literasi digital masyarakat. Masih banyak masyarakat yang belum terbiasa menggunakan teknologi digital untuk memenuhi kewajiban perpajakannya, termasuk melakukan pendaftaran NPWP secara online melalui portal DJP. Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini dilakukan dan ditunjukkan kepada mitra pelaku UMKM dalam rangka mendukung pengembangan penerapan Ilmu Akuntansi. Khususnya dalam memahami pentingnya Nomor Pokok Wajib Pajak (NPWP), manfaatnya, serta cara pendaftarannya secara mandiri melalui portal DJP Online. Wajib Pajak tidak perlu lagi memiliki nomor identitas perpajakan yang terpisah, sehingga mengurangi risiko kesalahan data atau duplikasi. Kegiatan ini juga memberikan informasi terkait kebijakan pemadanan Nomor Induk Kependudukan (NIK) menjadi NPWP sesuai Peraturan Menteri Keuangan Nomor 112/PMK.03/2022. Menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman peserta terhadap pentingnya NPWP dan langkah-langkah pendaftarannya. Peserta merespons positif metode penyampaian yang interaktif dan didukung media visual seperti slide presentasi dan video tutorial. Sistem yang terintegrasi membantu mendorong Wajib Pajak untuk lebih mudah melaksanakan kewajibannya, seperti pelaporan dan pembayaran pajak. Melalui kegiatan ini, Wajib Pajak diharapkan dapat memanfaatkan teknologi untuk mendukung tata kelola perpajakan yang lebih baik dan efisien dan memberikan dampak signifikan dengan meningkatkan kepatuhan masyarakat terhadap kewajiban perpajakan dapat dikategorikan sebagai berhasil dalam meningkatkan kesadaran dan pemahaman peserta tentang pentingnya NPWP, meskipun masih terdapat ruang untuk perbaikan pada pelaksanaan di masa mendatang.
