 The dangers of illegal online loans and their impact on the community need to be socialized so that people can anticipate if online loans come to them. Community service activities are carried out in Cisaat Village, Sukabumi to provide understanding to the community about the risks and negative impacts of illegal online loans. Through this educational activity, it is hoped that the people of Cisaat Village can recognize the characteristics of illegal online loans and be aware of the legal, social, and economic impacts it causes. In addition, this education also aims to develop a critical attitude of the public towards adverse online loan offers, provide information on safe and legal loan alternatives, and reduce people's dependence on online loan services that are not registered or supervised by the competent authorities. Thus, it is hoped that the community can be better protected from illegal lending practices that have the potential to harm their welfare. The method used is a socialization method with counselling and direct delivery of material and discussions about the dangers of illegal online loans and their impact on the community. The conclusion of this community service is that education about illegal online loans is very important to increase public awareness and understanding regarding the threatening risks of unofficial loan services. After participating in this activity, the people of Cisaat Village are expected to be able to recognize the characteristics of illegal loans, understand their negative impacts, and be more careful in considering loan offers. Thus, this service is expected to provide long-term protection for the welfare and economic stability of the people of Cisaat Village.

Abstrak

 Bahaya pinjaman online ilegal dan dampaknya bagi masyarakat perlu disosialisasikan agar masyarakat mampu mengantisipasi apabila pinjaman online menghampiri mereka. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dilakukan di Desa Cisaat Sukabumi untuk memberikan pemahaman kepada masyarakat mengenai risiko dan dampak negatif dari pinjaman online ilegal. Melalui kegiatan edukasi ini, diharapkan masyarakat Desa Cisaat dapat mengenali ciri-ciri pinjaman online yang ilegal serta menyadari dampak hukum, sosial, dan ekonomi yang ditimbulkannya. Selain itu, edukasi ini juga bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sikap kritis masyarakat terhadap tawaran pinjaman online yang merugikan, memberikan informasi mengenai alternatif pinjaman yang aman dan legal, serta mengurangi ketergantungan masyarakat pada layanan pinjaman online yang tidak terdaftar atau diawasi oleh otoritas berwenang. Dengan demikian, diharapkan masyarakat dapat lebih terlindungi dari praktik pinjaman ilegal yang berpotensi merugikan kesejahteraan mereka. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode sosialisasi dengan penyuluhan dan penyampaian materi secara langsung dan diskusi mengenai bahaya pinjaman online ilegal dan dampaknya bagi masyarakat. Kesimpulan dari pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah bahwa edukasi mengenai pinjaman online ilegal sangat penting untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan pemahaman masyarakat terkait risiko yang mengancam dari layanan pinjaman yang tidak resmi. Setelah mengikuti kegiatan ini, masyarakat Desa Cisaat diharapkan mampu mengenali ciri-ciri pinjaman ilegal, memahami dampak negatifnya, dan lebih berhati-hati dalam mempertimbangkan tawaran pinjaman. Dengan demikian, pengabdian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan perlindungan jangka panjang bagi kesejahteraan dan stabilitas ekonomi masyarakat Desa Cisaat.
