Abstract

This service is entitled Optimizing MSME Financial Management through Training on the Preparation of Simple Financial Statements in Cisaat Village, Cicurug District, Sukabumi Regency, West Java. The general purpose of this community service activity is the first to find out the level of understanding of MSME actors in Cisaat Village, Cicurug District, Sukabumi Regency, West Java regarding the importance of preparing simple financial statements in business management. The second is to train and guide MSME actors in Cisaat Village, Cicurug District, Sukabumi Regency, West Java in compiling simple financial statements that can help them in making more precise business decisions. The third is to improve the financial management skills of MSME actors in Cisaat Village, Cicurug District, Sukabumi Regency, West Java through training in the preparation of simple financial statements, so that it is expected to have an impact on increasing the profitability and sustainability of their business. The methods used are survey methods and direct delivery of material as well as simulations and discussions on Optimizing MSME Financial Management through Simple Financial Statement Preparation Training. The conclusion of this community service is that training is one of the effective ways to increase the capacity of MSME actors, especially in terms of financial management, the use of interactive training methods and materials tailored to the needs of participants is very important to achieve optimal results, and with the increase in the ability to prepare financial reports, it is hoped that MSMEs can make better business decisions,  access financing, and increase business growth.

 ABSTRAK

Pengabdian ini berjudul Optimalisasi Pengelolaan Keuangan UMKM melalui Pelatihan Penyusunan Laporan Keuangan Sederhana di Desa Cisaat, Kecamatan Cicurug, Kabupaten Sukabumi, Jawa Barat. Tujuan umum dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah yang pertama untuk mengetahui tingkat pemahaman pelaku UMKM di Desa Cisaat, Kecamatan Cicurug, Kabupaten Sukabumi, Jawa Barat mengenai pentingnya penyusunan laporan keuangan sederhana dalam pengelolaan usaha. Kedua adalah untuk melatih dan membimbing pelaku UMKM di Desa Cisaat, Kecamatan Cicurug, Kabupaten Sukabumi, Jawa Barat dalam menyusun laporan keuangan sederhana yang dapat membantu mereka dalam pengambilan keputusan bisnis secara lebih tepat. Ketiga adalah untuk meningkatkan keterampilan pengelolaan keuangan pelaku UMKM di Desa Cisaat, Kecamatan Cicurug, Kabupaten Sukabumi, Jawa Barat melalui pelatihan penyusunan laporan keuangan sederhana, sehingga diharapkan dapat berdampak pada peningkatan profitabilitas dan keberlanjutan usaha mereka. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode survey dan penyampaian materi secara langsung serta simulasi dan diskusi mengenai Optimalisasi Pengelolaan Keuangan UMKM melalui Pelatihan Penyusunan Laporan Keuangan Sederhana. Kesimpulan dari pengabdian kepada masyakat ini adalah Pelatihan merupakan salah satu cara efektif untuk meningkatkan kapasitas pelaku UMKM, terutama dalam hal pengelolaan keuangan, penggunaan metode pelatihan yang interaktif dan materi yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan peserta sangat penting untuk mencapai hasil yang optimal, dan dengan meningkatnya kemampuan dalam menyusun laporan keuangan, diharapkan UMKM dapat mengambil keputusan bisnis yang lebih baik, mengakses pembiayaan, dan meningkatkan pertumbuhan usahanya.
