ANALISIS PERHITUNGAN MATA PISAU MESIN PENCACAH KERTAS

Perancangan dan analisis mata pisau merupakan komponen penting dalam kinerja mesin pencacah kertas, terutama dalam menjamin efisiensi pencacahan dan ketahanan terhadap keausan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perhitungan dimensi, kekuatan, dan material mata pisau yang digunakan pada mesin pencacah kertas skala rumah tangga. Metode yang digunakan meliputi perhitungan gaya geser maksimum yang bekerja pada pisau saat proses pencacahan, pemilihan material berdasarkan sifat mekanik seperti kekerasan dan ketangguhan, serta simulasi tegangan menggunakan perangkat lunak CAD/CAE. Material pisau yang dianalisis adalah SKD-11, SKH-51, dan baja karbon C45, dengan mempertimbangkan tegangan maksimum, distribusi gaya potong, dan umur kelelahan. Hasil perhitungan menunjukkan bahwa material SKD-11 memberikan performa terbaik dalam hal ketahanan aus dan tegangan yang dapat ditahan. Dengan optimasi bentuk dan sudut pemotongan mata pisau, mesin dapat bekerja lebih efisien dan memiliki masa pakai yang lebih lama. Studi ini diharapkan menjadi dasar dalam pengembangan mesin pencacah kertas yang lebih andal dan ekonomis.
