Jurnal Wiyatamandala is one of the media for dissemination of information research results in the field of education which aims to communicate the various results of studies that can serve as the basis of scientific development to create educational innovation that emphasized on improving the quality of education. The Wiyatamandala Journal is published 2 (two) times a year in March and September, containing articles / articles of thoughts and research results written by experts, scientists, practitioners, and reviewers in educational and learning disciplines.

FOCUS AND SCOPE

 

Wiyatamandala: Journal of Education and Teaching aims to provide scientific literature in the field of education and teaching, encompassing both applied research and theoretical studies that contribute to the development of educational sciences. This journal facilitates not only local researchers but also international scholars to publish their research findings.

The journal's scope includes, but is not limited to, the following areas:

This journal welcomes various research approaches, including quantitative, qualitative, experimental, classroom action research (CAR), as well as research and development (R&D).

PUBLICATION ETHIC

 

The publication of an article in a peer-reviewed journal is an essential building block in the development of a coherent and respected network of knowledge. It is a direct reflection of the quality of work of the author and the institutions that support them. Peer-reviewed articles support and embody the scientific method. It is therefore important to agree upon standards of expected ethical behavior.

  • Authorship of the paper:Authorship should be limited to those who have made a significant contribution to the conception, design, execution, or interpretation of the reported study. Transparency about the contributions of authors is encouraged.
  • Originality and plagiarism:The authors should ensure that they have written entirely original works, and if the authors have used the work and/or words of others, that this has been appropriately cited or quoted.
  • Data access and retention:Authors may be asked to provide the raw data in connection with a paper for editorial review, and should be prepared to provide public access to such data.
  • Multiple, redundant or concurrent publication: An author should not in general publish manuscripts describing essentially the same research in more than one journal or primary publication. The following uses of a work are not viewed as prior publication: publication in the form of an abstract; publication as an academic thesis; publication as an electronic preprint. Note: some society-owned titles and journals that operate double-blind review have different policies on prior publication.
  • Acknowledgement of sources: Proper acknowledgment of the work of others must always be given.
  • Disclosure and conflicts of interest:All submissions must include disclosure of all relationships that could be viewed as presenting a potential conflict of interest.
  • Fundamental errors in published works:When an author discovers a significant error or inaccuracy in his/her own published work, it is the author's obligation to promptly notify the journal editor or publisher and cooperate with the editor to retract or correct the paper.
  • Reporting standards:Authors of reports of original research should present an accurate account of the work performed as well as an objective discussion of its significance.
  • Hazards and human or animal subjects:Statements of compliance are required if the work involves chemicals, procedures or equipment that have any unusual hazards inherent in their use, or if it involves the use of animal or human subjects.
  • Use of patient images or case details:Studies on patients or volunteers require ethics committee approval and informed consent, which should be documented in the paper.
PEER REVIEW PROCESS

 

Wiyatamandala: Jurnal Pendidikan dan Pengajaran is an international electronic journal published by Universitas Pamulang. Each submitted manuscript undergoes a rigorous peer-review process to ensure the quality, originality, relevance, and clarity of the research. The journal follows a double-blind review system, where both the authors and reviewers remain anonymous. Each manuscript will be reviewed by at least two independent reviewers.

The review process follows these steps:

  1. Initial Screening: The submitted manuscript is first reviewed by the editorial team to ensure it aligns with the journal’s focus and scope, adheres to the submission guidelines, and does not have major methodological flaws. A plagiarism check using Turnitin (or other plagiarism detection software) is also conducted. Manuscripts with more than 20% similarity will be returned to the author for revision.

  2. Peer Review: After passing the initial screening, the manuscript is sent to at least two anonymous reviewers who evaluate its originality, methodology, significance, and clarity of presentation.

  3. Author Revisions: Reviewers' comments and feedback are sent to the corresponding author for necessary revisions and responses. Authors are given a maximum of 20 days to submit the revised manuscript. If the revision exceeds this period, the manuscript may be considered as a new submission.

  4. Editorial Decision: Based on the reviewers' recommendations, the editor makes the final decision regarding acceptance, minor/major revisions, or rejection of the manuscript.

  5. Publication: Once accepted, the final version of the manuscript will be processed for publication and made available online as Open Access, allowing free and permanent access for readers.

This journal uses Mendeley as a reference management tool and follows the Creative Commons Attribution (CC-BY) license, ensuring that published works are freely accessible and can be shared with proper attribution.

This fee includes: The review process and DOI registration for each paper. The procedure to pay the OAPC to publish the paper will be sent once the article has been accepted. The journal will be freely available to all readers with worldwide visibility and coverage.
