Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  • If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

Author Guidelines

GUIDELINES FOR AUTHORS
1. GENERAL GUIDELINES
1. Al-Maqrizi: The Scientific Journal of the Sharia Economics Study Program at Pamulang University accepts manuscripts in research in the field of Sharia economics and Islamic studies in the form of research results and case reports.
2. Manuscripts sent to the editor have never been published / published by other scientific journals / magazines and are not being sent to other scientific journals / magazines for publication.
3. Manuscripts are written in MS Word (.doc) format, written in Indonesian based on the General Guidelines for Refined Indonesian Spelling and General Guidelines for the Formation of Terms, (except abstracts: written in Indonesian and English) with Times New Romance font size 12 with a manuscript length of 3000-5000 words or 5-12 sheets.

2. WRITING SYSTEMATICS
1. The manuscript is typed 1.5 spacing on A4 size paper with a distance of 2.5 cm from the top, side and bottom edges, the pages are numbered consecutively at the bottom right of the paper starting from the page after the title.
2. Initial Section: title, author's name, institution, email, and abstract.
3. Main part: introduction (Introduction includes social factors, literature facts, research objectives and problem solving plans presented in this section. Relevant review studies and hypothesis development (if any) are included in this section.), research methods (Research methods explain the design of activities, scope or object, main materials and tools, place, data collection techniques, operational definitions of research variables, and analysis techniques.), research results, discussion (The research results and discussion section describes the results of data processing, interprets the findings logically, relates to relevant reference sources. Include specific or unique findings from the research. Possible follow-up activities can also be presented in this section), conclusions and suggestions (Conclusions contain answers to the problem formulation. Suggestions contain the novelty of the research results. Suggestions contain recommendations for future research and for companies or objects related to this research).
4. Final section: Bibliography. Bibliography at least 6.

3. TITLE AND AUTHOR NAME
1. The title is written in Indonesian, printed in capital letters at the beginning of the word / Tittle Case, except for conjunctions / connectors written in lowercase letters, printed in bold, Times NewRomance font size 12, single space, maximum number of words 15, maximum 3 lines. The title is placed in the center position of the paper or the same distance between the right and left edges of the paper.
2. The author's name is written just below the title with a distance of 1 space. The author's identity is not accompanied by a title, may not be abbreviated, begins with a capital letter. The order of authors is first, second, third, and so on.
3. The name of the university and email address of all authors are written below the author's name. The email addresses of all authors are listed.
4. The work unit is written in the center position, in Indonesian based on the order of the authors, and numbered (superscript) based on the order of the authors. Correspondence name and address and email address are written in the center position, below the work unit.

4. ABSTRACT
1. The abstract contains the core problem/background of the problem, objectives, research methods, and main findings of the research. The abstract is organized in a narrative manner consisting of a maximum of 200 words in single spacing and in one paragraph.
2. Abstract is written sequentially in Indonesian.
3. Abstract is written in Times New Romance font size 11. Abstract is written without indent at the beginning of the sentence, italicized.
4. Abstract is equipped with keywords, consisting of 3-5 keywords with a maximum of 5 words per phrase.

5. GENERAL RULES OF MANUSCRIPT WRITING
Each subtitle is written in Times New Romance font size 12, bolded, not accompanied by Roman numbering.

Conclusions contain new paragraphs flush left and do not jut inward, between paragraphs are not given spaces, and are not in the form of pointers. Furthermore, foreign words are italicized.

6. REFERENCES
1. The bibliography is written according to Mendeley, APA style, and numbered in the order in which they appear, not in year of publication or alphabetical order.
2. Within the article, numbers are written above (superscript) without brackets and after punctuation marks.
3. Everything listed in the bibliography must be referred to in the manuscript.
4. Up-to-date references are highly preferred for the last 5 years of journals in the order of metaanalysis/systemic review.
5. The maximum number of authors listed in the bibliography is three. If the number of authors is more than six, write with et al.
6. The number of references for article references is a minimum of 13 and is limited to writings published in the last 10 years.
7. Abbreviations of journal names are written according to the list in Index Medicus.
8. Journal reference management with mendeley and APA style reference.

ADDITIONAL RULES
- Authors should include a brief bio in the form of an essay and full address.
- The Editor reserves the right to edit the manuscript without prejudice to the intent of the writing. And, published writings do not necessarily reflect the views of the Editor.
- The completeness of the writing in the form of illustrations or images, graphs, and tables is adjusted to the contents of the page around 18 x 11.5 cm. Illustrations or images are also included in JPG form and preferably in color.
- Al-Maqrizi: Scientific Journal of the Sharia Economics Study Program at Pamulang University in writing citations and bibliography using Mendeley Reference Management Software or appa style.
