Harmoni dan Toleransi dalam Keragaman (Studi Kasus Umat Beragama pada Masyarakat Suku Baduy Lebak Banten)

This study aims to describe and analyze; (1) To find out about the religious diversity of the Baduy tribal community, (2) To find out the form of harmony and tolerance of the Baduy tribal community, (3) To determine the level of harmony, freedom and religious conflict in the Baduy Tribe. The location of this research is in the Baduy community of Kanekes Village, Leuwidamar District, Lebak Regency, Banten Province. They inhabit the area of Mount Kendeng which covers an area of 5,101.85 hectares. The Baduy community is known for 3 social groups including the TangtuBaduy (inside), PanampingBaduy, DangkaBaduy and PajaroanBaduy (outside), Baduy converts to Islam. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with an ethnographic approach. Methods of data collection is done by interview, observation and documentation. The data analysis method uses the Miles and Huberman model. The results of this study indicate that the Baduy tribe is a tribe that adheres to the kepu'unan custom and has Sundanese Wiwitan beliefs. However, there are some of them who feel they are not strong enough to follow customs and leave the Baduyulayat land, so that the Baduy tribe becomes diverse. The diversity of the Baduy community consists of: TangtuBaduy (inside), PanampingBaduy, Dangka and Pajaroan (outside) and Baduy converts/Muslims. The form of harmony of the Baduy tribe can be seen from their obedience to uphold the kepuunan customs including; the nyacar attack ceremony, the nuaran attack ceremony, the ngaduruk attack ceremony, the ngaseuk attack ceremony, the ngored attack ceremony, made the attack, the kawalu ceremony, the ngalaksa ceremony and the sebaBaduy ceremony. Meanwhile, the tolerance of the Baduy tribe can be seen from (a) Respecting each other's beliefs, (b) If a Muslim or a Baduy tribe who converts to Islam is fasting, then the other Baduy tribes do not eat carelessly or do not eat out. (c) When celebrating Eid al-Fitr they (internal Baduy or outer Baduy) will come to stay in touch with food.
