Pemasangan Instalasi Kipas Angin di Masjid Ash Shobirin Untuk Meningkatkan Kenyamanan Beribadah

This community service reviews the fan installation activities at the Ash Shobirin Mosque as a strategic effort to improve the comfort of worshippers during worship. The room temperature that is often hot is the background of this initiative to create a cooler atmosphere and support the solemnity of worship. This activity was carried out by a service team consisting of lecturers and students of Electrical Engineering by prioritizing technical aspects and work safety. The installation process follows electrical standards, including the selection of optimal installation points, securing cable lines, and using equipment according to Occupational Health and Safety (K3) principles. The team also conducted socialization with mosque administrators regarding system maintenance so that its function can be maintained in the long term. The results of the implementation showed a significant increase in comfort, characterized by a decrease in temperature inside the mosque. In addition to direct benefits for pilgrims, this activity also provides practical experience for students in applying academic knowledge to society. This report also includes details of location planning, equipment specifications, cost estimates, and funding sources, which are derived from pilgrim donations and support from related parties. It is hoped that the existence of this fan will be able to increase the comfort of worship, maintain concentration, and make the mosque a more conducive environment for all users.
Abstrak
Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini mengulas kegiatan instalasi kipas angin di Masjid Ash Shobirin sebagai upaya strategis untuk meningkatkan kenyamanan jamaah saat beribadah. Suhu ruangan yang kerap panas menjadi latar belakang inisiatif ini guna menciptakan suasana yang lebih sejuk dan mendukung kekhusyukan ibadah. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan oleh tim pengabdian yang terdiri dari dosen dan mahasiswa Teknik Elektro dengan mengedepankan aspek teknis serta keselamatan kerja. Proses instalasi mengikuti standar kelistrikan, meliputi pemilihan titik pemasangan yang optimal, pengamanan jalur kabel, serta penggunaan peralatan sesuai prinsip Kesehatan dan Keselamatan Kerja (K3). Tim juga melakukan sosialisasi kepada pengurus masjid mengenai perawatan sistem agar fungsinya dapat terjaga dalam jangka panjang. Hasil implementasi menunjukkan peningkatan kenyamanan secara signifikan, ditandai dengan penurunan suhu di dalam masjid. Selain manfaat langsung bagi jamaah, kegiatan ini juga memberikan pengalaman praktis bagi mahasiswa dalam menerapkan ilmu akademik ke dalam masyarakat. Laporan ini turut memuat rincian perencanaan lokasi, spesifikasi peralatan, estimasi biaya, serta sumber pendanaan yang berasal dari donasi jamaah dan dukungan pihak terkait. Diharapkan, keberadaan kipas angin ini mampu meningkatkan kenyamanan beribadah, menjaga konsentrasi, serta menjadikan masjid sebagai lingkungan yang lebih kondusif bagi seluruh pengguna.
