Peremajaan Instalasi Penerangan pada Gedung Asrama Pondok Pesantren Bahrum Ulum

Community Service (PkM) was held at the Bahrul Ulum Islamic Boarding School, Pondok Aren District, South Tangerang City, Banten. The main focus of the activity is to overcome the problem of a lack of lighting in the dormitory building, which has an impact on the safety and comfort of students, staff, and the surrounding community, especially at night. The PkM team proposed a solution by planning and implementing the rejuvenation of the installation and installation of lighting in the dormitory building as many as 25 points using efficient LED lighting technology. In addition to providing direct benefits to the community, this PkM project also aims to increase student capacity through direct experience in solving real problems. The results of the evaluation show that the project succeeded in creating a safer and more comfortable environment, with the active participation of the community. Suggestions for routine maintenance, external involvement, and ongoing education programs are proposed to ensure the sustainability of activities.
Abstrak
Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PkM) dilaksanakan di Pondok Pesantren Bahrul Ulum, Kecamatan Pondok Aren, Kota Tangerang Selatan, Banten. Fokus utama kegiatan adalah mengatasi permasalahan kekurangan penerangan gedung asrama, yang berdampak pada keamanan dan kenyamanan santri, staf, dan masyarakat sekitar, terutama pada malam hari. Tim PkM mengusulkan solusi dengan merencanakan dan melaksanakan peremajaan instalasi serta pemasangan lampu penerangan di gedung asrama sebanyak 25 titik menggunakan teknologi lampu LED yang efisien. Selain memberikan manfaat langsung kepada masyarakat, proyek PkM ini juga bertujuan meningkatkan kapasitas mahasiswa melalui pengalaman langsung dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan nyata. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa proyek berhasil menciptakan lingkungan yang lebih aman dan nyaman, dengan partisipasi aktif masyarakat. Saran untuk pemeliharaan rutin, pelibatan pihak eksternal, dan program edukasi berkelanjutan diusulkan guna memastikan keberlanjutan kegiatan.
