Pemasangan dan Perbaikan Instalasi PJU di Kampung Prapatan Muni Batujajar Bogor

Street lighting is closely related to the safety and security of community members for road users, especially at night. Main roads and rural roads urgently need good lighting and standards in community activities at night. This Community Service (PkM) aims to carry out rejuvenation and installation and installation of Public Street Lighting (PJU) electricity at dark spots on unpaved roads. The method of implementing this activity consists of several stages, including: coordination, analysis of the determination of PJU installation locations, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The results obtained from PkM activities are that the proper analysis of the installation point area provides maximum benefits of PJU electricity use at night, the use of standard PJU poles and cables in accordance with PUIL makes the service life longer. Furthermore, operational training and PJU maintenance procedures for residents are expected to be able to increase the knowledge and skills of community members.
Abstrak
Penerangan jalan berkaitan erat dengan keselamatan dan keamanan warga masyarakat bagi pengguna jalan khususnya pada malam hari. Jalan utama maupun jalan pedesaan, sangat membutuhkan penerangan yang baik dan standar dalam aktifitas masyarakat di malam hari. Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini bertujuan untuk melakukan peremajaan dan pemasangan dan instalasi listrik Penerangan Jalan Umum (PJU) pada titik-titik gelap di jalan yang belum beraspal. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan ini terdiri dari beberapa tahapan diantaranya: koordinasi, analisis penentuan titik lokasi pemasangan PJU, perancangan, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Hasil yang diperoleh dari kegiatan PkM adalah bahwa analisis yang tepat terhadap area titik pemasangan dan memberikan manfaat secara maksimal penggunaan listrik PJU di malam hari, penggunaan tiang-tiang PJU dan kabel yang standar dan sesuai PUIL membuat umur pakai akan lebih lama. Selanjutnya, pelatihan operasional dan prosedur perawatan pemeliharaan PJU kepada warga sekitar diharapkan mampu menambah ilmu pengetahuan dan keterampilan warga masyarakat.
