Otomasi Sistem Penerangan Jalan Kampung Babakan Lio dan Muni Batu Jajar Bogor

This community service aims to automate the street lighting system along the route between Babakan Lio Village and Prapatan Muni Village, Batu Jajar, Bogor. This automation system uses "tiben timer" technology combined with a contactor and Change Over Switch (COS) to control the operation of the lighting lamp. The system is designed to automatically turn the lights on and off at a predetermined time, from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m., without the need for manual intervention. The use of contactors and COS in this setting ensures that the flow of electricity to the lighting lamp runs safely and efficiently. With the application of this technology, it is hoped that significant energy savings, increased lamp life, and increased safety and comfort for the local community will be achieved. The project is expected to provide a practical and reliable solution for public street lighting (PJU) in the region.
Abstrak
Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengotomatisasi sistem penerangan jalan di sepanjang jalur antara Kampung Babakan Lio dan Kampung Prapatan Muni, Batu Jajar, Bogor. Sistem otomasi ini menggunakan teknologi "timer tiben" yang dikombinasikan dengan kontaktor dan change over switch (COS) untuk mengontrol operasi lampu penerangan. Sistem ini dirancang untuk mengaktifkan dan mematikan lampu secara otomatis pada waktu yang telah ditentukan, yaitu dari jam 6 sore hingga jam 6 pagi, tanpa memerlukan intervensi manual. Penggunaan kontaktor dan COS dalam pengaturan ini memastikan bahwa aliran listrik ke lampu penerangan berjalan dengan aman dan efisien. Dengan penerapan teknologi ini, diharapkan tercapai penghematan energi yang signifikan, peningkatan umur lampu, serta peningkatan keamanan dan kenyamanan bagi masyarakat setempat. Proyek ini diharapkan memberikan solusi praktis dan andal untuk penerangan jalan umum (PJU) di wilayah tersebut.
