ANALISA PERANCANGAN DAN IMPLEMENTASI SISTEM INFORMASI MANAJEMEN PROJEK PADA CV.MS - Sistem informasi memegang peranan penting dalam perusahaan dalam menyediakan informasi yang berguna bagi kepentingan operasi maupun manajemen. Oleh karena itu, banyak perusahaan yang memiliki departemen teknologi informasi atau sistem informasi. Begitu juga CV MS, sebuah perusahaan yang bergerak dalam bidang teknologi sistem informasi. CV MS menggunakan sistem informasi selama beberapa tahun untuk menangani kegiatan-kegiatan seperti penanganan support ticket.Walaupun begitu, ada dua hal penting yang berkaitan dengan manajemen sistem informasi yang menarik untuk ditelaah. Pertama, tentang akuisisi sistem informasi itu sendiri. Selama ini CV.Mediatama Studio melimpahkan seluruh pembuatan sistem baru ke pihak ketiga (outsourcing). Adapun pengembangan aplikasi kecil untuk kepentingan pembuatan laporan ditangani sendiri oleh pegawai di bidang teknologi informasi (insourcing). Berkaitan dengan hal itu, terdapat beberapa pertanyaan yang menarik: Apa yang harus dipersiapkan oleh CV.MS untuk menuju ke pengembangan aplikasi sendiri. Bagaimana cara mengurangi kelemahan-kelemahan sekiranya pengembangan aplikasi dilakukan oleh pihak ketiga. Kedua, tentang pengambilan keputusan pengembangan sistem baru yang sejauh ini ditangani oleh manajemen puncak tanpa disertai dokumen formal yang disebut rencana sistem informasi.

ANALYSIS DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF MANAGEMENT PROJECT SYSTEMS IN CV.MS - Information systems play an important role in the company in providing useful information for operations and management purposes. Therefore, many companies have information technology or information systems departments. Likewise CV MS, a company engaged in information systems technology. CV MS has used an information system for several years to handle activities such as handling support tickets. Even so, there are two important things related to information system management that are interesting to examine. First, regarding the acquisition of the information system itself. So far, CV.Mediatama Studio has delegated all the creation of the new system to a third party (outsourcing). The development of small applications for reporting purposes is handled by employees in the field of information technology (insourcing). In this regard, there are several interesting questions: What must be prepared by CV.MS to go into developing its own application. How to reduce weaknesses if application development is carried out by a third party. Second, regarding the decision making for the development of the new system which has been handled by top management without a formal document, which is called an information system plan.
