EVALUASI USER INTERFACE WEBSITE UNIVERSITAS RESPATI INDONESIA (URINDO) MENGGUNAKAN METODE USABILITY TESTING

Layanan informasi akademik berbasis website, yang merupakan penghubung antar pengelola dan mahasiswa bertujuan untuk memberikan penyajian informasi – informasi dan layanan institusi pendidikan yaitu kampus kepada user atau pengguna layanan. Hal ini sudah menjadi bagian yang sangat penting untuk pendukung kesuksesan penyampaian informasi dari sebuah institusi pendidikan, akan tetapi penyampaian informasi yang berbasis website masih banyak kendala dalam penggunaannya, bahkan tampilan atau desain user interface nya tidak menarik dan tools atau navigasi tidak menunjukan sebagaimana mestinya. Mengapa halaman website perlu diadakannya untuk diukur karena akan menentukan kualitas dari sebuah situs website dari user, sehingga perlu dilakukannya evaluasi atau pengukuran untuk mengetahui tingkat kenyamanan, kemudahan, serta kepuasan pengguna ketika berselancar di website. Masalah penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kinerja dari tampilan user interface dan usability website. Dan Tujuan penelitian ini mengetahui kinerja dari sebuah website dengan menggunakan metode usability testing yang kemudian akan memberikan masukan – masukan dalam proses pengembangan website selanjutnya. Pengujian dilakukan melalui penggunakan kuisioner serta responden langsung berinteraksi dengan website institusi. Hasil penelitian adalah implementasi navigasi (menu) dari website yang tidak efektif pada perangkat mobile, hal ini dinyatakan adanya perbedaan waktu yang lebih lama antara pengguna perangkat mobile dengan pengguna perangkat desktop.

ABSTRACT
Website-based academic information service, which is a liaison between managers and students aims to provide the presentation of information - information and services of educational institutions, namely the campus, to users or service users. This has become a very important part to support the success of the delivery of information from an educational institution, but the delivery of information based on the website is still a lot of obstacles in its use, even the appearance or design of the user interface is not attractive and the tools or navigation do not show properly. Why do web pages need to be held to be measured because it will determine the quality of a user's website, so it needs to be evaluated or measured to determine the level of comfort, convenience, and user satisfaction when surfing the website. The problem of this research is to find out the performance of the user interface and website usability. And the purpose of this study is to find out the performance of a website using the usability testing method which will then provide input in the next website development process. Testing is done through the use of questionnaires and respondents directly interact with the institution's website. The result of the research is the implementation of navigation (menu) of the website which is not effective on mobile devices, this is stated by the difference in the longer time between mobile device users and desktop device users.
