Abstract

PT Telkom Akses (PTTA) merupakan anak perushaan PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk. Terlibat dalam pembangunan infrastruktur jaringan dan managed service. Komponen penting yang ada pada jaringan berbasis serat optik adalah Optical Distribution Cabinet (ODC) . Perusahaan ini mengalami berbagai kendala dalam mengelola infrastruktur dalam jaringan. Salah satunya adalah teknisi membutuhkan informasi lokasi spesifik dari ODC yang ingin di perbaiki. Selama ini tidak ada Sistem Informasi Geografis pemetaan ODC yang di gunakan. Berdasarkan permasalah yang ada, maka penelitian ini berjudul Analisis dan Perancanagan Sistem Informasi Geografis Pemetaan Lokasi Optical Distribution Cabinet (ODC) dengan Metode Rapid Application Development (RAD) di PT Telkom Akses.

ABSTRACT

 PT Telkom Access (PTTA) is a subsidiary company of PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk. Involved in the development of network infrastructure and managed services. An important component in an optical fiber-based network is an Optical Distribution Cabinet (ODC).

This company is experiencing various obstacles in managing the infrastructure in the network. One of them is that the technician needs specific location information from the ODC that he wants to fix.
So far, no ODC mapping Geographical Information System has been used. Based on the existing problems, this research is entitled Analysis and Design of Geographical Information Systems Mapping Optical Distribution Cabinet (ODC) Locations with the Rapid Application Development (RAD) Method at PT. Telkom Access.
