PERANCANGAN SISTEM INFORMASI LAUNDRY BERBASIS WEB MENGGUNAKAN METODE RAPID APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT (STUDY KASUS: JAYA LAUNDRY). Seiring dengan kemajuan teknologi, manusia selalu ingin memperbarui cara menyampaikan informasi yang lebih baik dan mudah diakses, seperti yang dilakukan oleh teknologi dan informatika saat ini. Sistem informasi sangat membantu orang melakukan pekerjaan mereka. Karena Jaya Laundry masih melakukan transaksi secara manual dan tidak memiliki sistem layanan informasi yang baik, proses transaksi masih menggunakan buku besar untuk menyimpan data pelanggan. Metode Rapid application development (RAD) adalah pendekatan pengembangan perangkat lunak yang menekankan pada penekanan pada pengguna dan responsivitas sepanjang proses pengembangan. Metode ini sangat cocok untuk proyek ini karena memungkinkan pembuatan sistem yang cepat, fleksibel, dan responsif terhadap perubahan kebutuhan pengguna, terutama untuk Jaya Laundry, yang membutuhkan solusi sistem informasi secara cepat dan akurat.Sistem informasi laundry ini dapat membantu mengelola data dan memberikan informasi terkini tentang pesanan pelanggan. Sistem informasi laundry ini dapat membantu memudahkan jalan nya transksi dan menyimpan data transaksi secara detail dan aman. Sistem informasi laundry ini dapat membantu owner untuk melihat data laporan keuangan dengan mudah. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan penulis terhadap sistem informasi pencucian Jaya menunjukkan bahwa sistem tersebut dapat membantu meringankan pekerjaan karyawan dan menyelesaikan masalah yang mereka hadapi. Salah satu kendala yang dihadapi karyawan adalah sistem tersebut tidak dapat menganalisis data dan memberikan informasi terkini tentang layanan pelanggan.

DESIGN OF A WEB-BASED LAUNDRY INFORMATION SYSTEM USING THE RAPID APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT METHOD (CASE STUDY: JAYA LAUNDRY). As technology advances, there's a constant drive to improve how information is conveyed and accessed, a need perfectly addressed by current information technology. Information systems significantly streamline workflows. Jaya Laundry currently operates with manual transactions, lacking a robust information system, and relies on ledgers for customer data. This project utilizes the Rapid application development (RAD) method, a software development approach that prioritizes user involvement and responsiveness throughout the development process. RAD is ideally suited for this project due to its ability to create a fast, flexible, and adaptable system that can respond to evolving user needs, particularly crucial for Jaya Laundry's immediate requirement for an accurate information system solution. This laundry information system will assist in managing data and providing up-to-date customer order information. It will also facilitate transactions and ensure detailed and secure storage of transaction data. Furthermore, it will empower the owner with easy access to financial reports. Research on Jaya Laundry's information system indicates that it alleviates employee workload and resolves existing challenges. However, a current limitation is the system's inability to analyze data and provide real-time customer service information.
