Abstract

            PENERAPAN VISUALISASI DASHBOARD MENGGUNAKAN TABLEAU UNTUK MENAMPILKAN PENYEBARAN HOAKS DI JAWA TENGAH. Pengaruh teknologi informasi dalam kehidupan manusia sangat besar dan sudah pasti memiliki banyak pula resiko teknologi informasi untuk disalahgunakan oleh individu maupun kelompok. Pada realitanya, banyak hal buruk yang dapat terjadi melalui teknologi informasi contohnya penyebaran hoaks yang marak terjadi, khususnya di wilayah Jawa Tengah. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menyajikan gambaran informasi melalui visualisai dashboard berbasis tableau pada penyebaran hoaks yang terjadi di wilayah Jawa Tengah melalui beberapa platform sosial media. Metode penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif, pendekatan ini memanfaatkan pengumpulan rekapitulasi jumlah hoaks bulanan dari sumber resmi pemerintah dan analisis data untuk melihat gambaran yang objektif dan mendeskripsikan data dan fakta yang terjadi tentang hoax dan penyebarannya melalui berita-berita di media sosial. Proses penelitian meliputi pengumpulan data, penyesuaian data, serta pengolahan visual dalam bentuk grafik pada dashboard. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan visualisasi dashboard meningkatkan efektivitas dalam penyampaian informasi terkait hoaks dan bermanfaat bagi pihak yang membutuhkan informasi mengenai perkembangan hoaks di wilayah Jawa Tengah.

ABSTRACT

            PENERAPAN VISUALISASI DASHBOARD MENGGUNAKAN TABLEAU UNTUK MENAMPILKAN PENYEBARAN HOAKS DI JAWA TENGAH. The influence of information technology in human life is enormous and undoubtedly carries many risks of misuse by individuals and groups. In fact, many bad things can happen through information technology, such as the rampant spread of hoaxes, especially in the Central Java region. This study was conducted to present information through a Tableau-based visual dashboard on the spread of hoaxes in Central Java through several social media platforms. The research method used was descriptive qualitative, which utilized the collection of monthly hoax statistics from official government sources and data analysis to obtain an objective picture and describe the data and facts related to hoaxes and their spread through news on social media. The research process included data collection, data adjustment, and visual processing in the form of graphs on the dashboard. The results of this study indicate that the application of dashboard visualization improves the effectiveness of conveying information related to hoaxes and is useful for parties who need information about the development of hoaxes in the Central Java region.
