EVALUASI PENERAPAN CLOUD COMPUTING UNTUK EFISIENI INFRASTRUKTUR TEKNOLOGI INFORMASI PADA UMKM DI INDONESIA. UMKM merupakan sektor yang memberikan kontribusi signifikan terhadap perekonomian Indonesia, namun masih menghadapi hambatan dalam pengelolaan infrastruktur teknologi informasi, terutama terkait biaya investasi, pemeliharaan sistem, serta keterbatasan sumber daya manusia yang kompeten di bidang teknologi. Cloud computing menjadi solusi alternatif yang menawarkan layanan komputasi berbasis internet dengan biaya lebih efisien, skalabilitas yang fleksibel, dan kemudahan akses data.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi penerapan cloud computing dalam meningkatkan efisiensi infrastruktur teknologi informasi pada UMKM di Indonesia. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan deskriptif melalui penyebaran kuesioner dan analisis dokumentasi terhadap UMKM yang telah mengimplementasikan layanan cloud. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan cloud computing dapat mengurangi biaya operasional, meningkatkan kinerja sistem, dan mempercepat proses bisnis tanpa memerlukan investasi perangkat keras tambahan. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa cloud computing merupakan strategi yang efektif dalam mendukung transformasi digital UMKM dan dapat diterapkan secara lebih luas untuk meningkatkan daya saing usaha masyarakat.

EVALUASI PENERAPAN CLOUD COMPUTING UNTUK EFISIENI INFRASTRUKTUR TEKNOLOGI INFORMASI PADA UMKM DI INDONESIA. Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a significant role in Indonesia’s economic development; however, many still encounter challenges in managing their information technology infrastructure, particularly related to investment costs, system maintenance, and limited technical expertise. Cloud computing emerges as an alternative solution that provides scalable, cost-efficient, and easily accessible internet-based computing services.
This research aims to evaluate the implementation of cloud computing in improving the efficiency of information technology infrastructure among MSMEs in Indonesia. The study employs a descriptive research method through the distribution of questionnaires and documentation analysis of MSMEs that have adopted cloud-based services. The results indicate that cloud computing reduces operational expenses, enhances system performance, and accelerates business processes without requiring additional hardware investments. These findings highlight that cloud computing serves as an effective strategy to support the digital transformation of MSMEs and can be widely adopted to strengthen business competitiveness
