SYSTEMATIC LITERATURE REVIEW: IMPLEMENTASI DAN TANTANGAN SISTEM ABSENSI BERBASIS WEBSITE DI PERGURUAN TINGGI. Implementasi sistem absensi digital telah menjadi pilar utama dalam transformasi administrasi di institusi pendidikan tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas, metodologi pengembangan, dan tantangan teknis dalam penerapan sistem absensi berbasis website melalui pendekatan Systematic Literature Review (SLR). Analisis dilakukan terhadap 18 literatur ilmiah yang diterbitkan antara tahun 2019 hingga 2025, dengan fokus khusus pada studi kasus di Universitas Pamulang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan metode Rapid Application Development (RAD) merupakan pendekatan yang paling efisien dalam pengembangan sistem karena fleksibilitasnya. Temuan utama (novelty) dalam studi ini mengidentifikasi bahwa integrasi antara platform website dengan QR Code dinamis dan verifikasi geolokasi mampu memberikan tingkat keamanan data yang setara dengan sistem biometrik tanpa memerlukan investasi perangkat keras yang mahal. Meskipun kendala stabilitas jaringan tetap menjadi tantangan utama, penggunaan arsitektur presensi adaptif terbukti signifikan dalam meningkatkan akuntabilitas dan efisiensi birokrasi akademik.

ABSTRACT
ANALYSIS OF WEB-BASED ATTENDANCE SYSTEMS IN HIGHER EDUCATION: A SYSTEMATIC LITERATURE REVIEW. The implementation of digital attendance systems has become a key pillar in the administrative transformation of higher education institutions. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness, development methodologies, and technical challenges of web-based attendance systems through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. The analysis was conducted on 18 scholarly literatures published between 2019 and 2025, with a specific focus on studies related to Pamulang University. The results indicate that the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method is the most efficient approach for system development due to its flexibility in meeting institutional needs. The study identifies a significant novelty: the integration of web platforms with dynamic QR codes and geolocation verification provides a data security level equivalent to biometric systems without requiring expensive hardware investment. Although network stability remains a primary challenge, the implementation of an adaptive attendance architecture has proven significant in enhancing accountability and academic bureaucratic efficiency. In conclusion, web-based systems integrated with dynamic security features offer the most balanced solution for large-scale educational institutions.
