PENGEMBANGAN SISTEM INFORMASI SELEKSI CALON PENERIMA BANTUAN DANA BOS DENGAN PENDEKATAN WEIGHTED PRODUCT. Bantuan Operasional Sekolah (BOS) merupakan program pemerintah yang bertujuan untuk mendukung pembiayaan operasional pendidikan. Dalam pelaksanaannya, proses seleksi calon penerima dana BOS sering kali masih dilakukan secara manual sehingga berpotensi menimbulkan subjektivitas dan kurangnya transparansi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sis-tem informasi seleksi calon penerima bantuan dana BOS dengan menerapkan metode Weighted Product (WP) sebagai pendekatan sistem pendukung keputusan. Metode WP digunakan karena mampu memberikan hasil perangkingan alternatif berdasarkan bobot dan tingkat kepentingan setiap kriteria secara proporsional. Tahapan penelitian meliputi analisis kebutuhan, perancangan sistem, implementasi metode WP, serta pen-gujian sistem. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem yang dikembangkan mampu membantu pihak sekolah dalam melakukan proses seleksi secara lebih objektif, cepat, dan terstruktur. Sistem ini juga dapat menghasilkan rekomendasi penerima dana BOS berdasarkan nilai preferensi tertinggi. Dengan demikian, penerapan metode Weighted Product pada sistem informasi seleksi dana BOS dinilai efektif dalam men-dukung pengambilan keputusan yang transparan dan akurat. Sistem yang dikembangkan juga berfungsi se-bagai alat bantu pengambilan keputusan yang terdokumentasi dengan baik, sehingga hasil seleksi dapat di-pertanggungjawabkan secara administratif dan akademik.

DEVELOPMENT OF AN INFORMATION SYSTEM FOR SELECTION OF CANDIDATES FOR BOS FUND ASSISTANCE RECIPIENTS USING A WEIGHTED PRODUCT APPROACH. School Operational Assis-tance (BOS) is a government program aimed at supporting school operational funding. In practice, the selection of BOS fund recipients is often conducted manually, leading to subjectivity and limited transparency. This study aims to develop an information system for selecting prospective BOS fund recipients using the Weighted Prod-uct (WP) method as a decision support approach. The WP method is applied because it is capable of generat-ing alternative rankings based on the relative importance and weights of each criterion. The research stages include requirement analysis, system design, WP method implementation, and system testing. The results indi-cate that the developed system assists schools in conducting the selection process more objectively, efficiently, and systematically. Furthermore, the system produces recommendations for BOS fund recipients based on the highest preference values. Therefore, the application of the Weighted Product method is considered effective in supporting transparent and accurate decision-making processes. The developed system also functions as a well-documented decision support tool, ensuring that the selection results can be accounted for both adminis-tratively and academically.
