PERANCANGAN SISTEM INFORMASI MONITORING INVENTARIS PERALATAN DENGAN METODE PROTOTE EFEKTIF PADA KOPERASI MITRA JAYA masih melakukan pencatatan dan monitoring inventaris peralatan secara manual menggunakan buku catatan dan spreadsheet, sehingga pengelolaan data inventaris menjadi kurang efektif dan rentan terhadap kesalahan. Karena itu penelitian bertujuan merancang sistem informasi monitoring inventaris peralatan berbasis web dengan metode prototype. Berdasarkan penelitian metode prototype sangat efektif dalam pengembangan sistem inventoring karena melibatkan pengguna langsung dalam pengembangan sistem dilakukan secara berulang melaui evaluasi dan revisi yang disesuaikan dengan pengguna. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara dan observasi langsung. Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa sistem yang dirancang mampu meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektifitas dalam pengelolaan data inventaris serta mendukung pengambilan keputusan secara lebih cepat, akurat, dan terintegrasi.

DESIGNING AN EFFECTIVE PROTOTYPE METHOD INFORMATION SYSTEM FOR EQUIPMENT INVENTORY MONITORING AT THE MITRA JAYA COOPERATIVE equipment inventory is still recorded and monitored manually using notebooks and spreadsheets, making inventory data management ineffective and prone to errors. Therefore, this study aims to design a web-based equipment inventory monitoring information system using the prototype method. Based on research, the prototype method is very effective in inventory system development because it involves direct users in the system development process through repeated evaluation and revision tailored to the users. Data collection was conducted through interviews and direct observation. The results of the study show that the designed system is capable of improving efficiency and effectiveness in inventory data management and supports faster, more accurate, and integrated decision making.
