Abstract
ABSTRAK
PENGEMBANGAN APLIKASI INTERAKTIF UMKM BERBASIS WEB DENGAN METODE RAD. Teknologi informasi mendorong kebutuhan Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) untuk memanfaatkan platform digital dalam meningkatkan efisiensi operasional dan memperluas jangkauan pasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan aplikasi web interaktif bagi UMKM menggunakan metode Rapid Application Development (RAD), yang menekankan prototyping cepat serta keterlibatan pengguna secara intensif. Metode RAD dipilih untuk mempercepat proses pengembangan dan memastikan aplikasi yang dihasilkan sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengguna. Proses pengembangan meliputi analisis kebutuhan, perancangan prototipe, pengujian, dan implementasi sistem. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi web yang dikembangkan mampu memfasilitasi UMKM dalam pengelolaan produk, pemesanan, serta interaksi dengan pelanggan secara efektif. Kesimpulannya, penerapan metode RAD memungkinkan pengembangan aplikasi web interaktif yang cepat, fleksibel, dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan UMKM.

DEVELOPING WEB-BASED INTERACTIVE APPLICATIONS FOR MSMES USING THE RAD METHOD The development of information technology encourages Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to utilize digital platforms to improve operational efficiency and expand market reach. This study aims to develop an interactive web application for MSMEs using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method, which emphasizes rapid prototyping and intensive user involvement. The RAD method was chosen to accelerate the development process and ensure that the application meets user requirements. The development process includes requirement analysis, prototype design, testing, and system implementation. The results indicate that the developed web application effectively supports MSMEs in product management, order processing, and customer interaction. In conclusion, the implementation of the RAD method enables the development of interactive web applications that are fast, flexible, and aligned with MSME needs.
