Abstract
ABSTRAK
PERANCANGAN SISTEM INFORMASI MONITORING PROSES CLEARANCE IMPOR BERBASIS WEB DENGAN METODE PROTOTYPE MODEL. Perkembangan teknologi informasi mendorong perusahaan mengelola data secara lebih efektif dan terintegrasi untuk mendukung kegiatan operasional. PT Metro Karta Internasional merupakan perusahaan freight forwarding yang menangani proses clearance impor. Berdasarkan hasil observasi, pengelolaan data masih menggunakan spreadsheet berbasis Google Drive sehingga menimbulkan risiko kesalahan input, perubahan data tanpa kontrol yang jelas, kesulitan memantau status shipment, serta kurang efisiennya proses pencarian data. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis kebutuhan serta menghasilkan rancangan Sistem Informasi Monitoring Proses Clearance Impor berbasis web yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan operasional perusahaan. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, pengalaman kerja peneliti, dan studi literatur. Analisis dan perancangan sistem dilakukan menggunakan metode Prototype Model. Hasil penelitian berupa analisis sistem berjalan, analisis kebutuhan, serta rancangan sistem yang meliputi flowchart, perancangan basis data, Unified Modelling Language (UML), dan rancangan antarmuka pengguna (User Interface). Rancangan yang dihasilkan diharapkan dapat menjadi acuan dalam pengembangan sistem pada tahap implementasi selanjutnya.

ABSTRACT
ANALYSIS OF THE DESIGN OF A WEB-BASED IMPORT CLEARANCE MONITORING INFORMATION SYSTEM USING THE PROTOTYPE MODEL METHOD. The rapid development of information technology encourages companies to manage operational data more effectively and in an integrated manner. PT Metro Karta Internasional is a freight forwarding company that handles import clearance processes. Based on observations, import clearance data are still managed using Google Drive-based spreadsheets, resulting in data entry errors, uncontrolled data modifications, difficulties in monitoring shipment status, and inefficient data retrieval. This study aims to analyze system requirements and produce the design of a web-based Import Clearance Monitoring Information System that meets the company's operational needs. A qualitative approach was employed using observation, the researcher's operational work experience, and literature review. System analysis and design were conducted using the Prototype Model. The research produced an analysis of the existing system, system requirements, and system design consisting of the proposed flowchart, database design, Unified Modelling Language (UML), and user interface design. The proposed design is expected to serve as a reference for future system development.
