PENGENALAN ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE BAGI KOMUNITAS KAMPUNG BELAJAR MASJID BABUSSALAM LEMBAH PINUS PAMULANG

Abstract

The development of Artificial Intelligence offers new opportunities for non-formal education, yet its use in community-based learning spaces remains uneven. Kampung Belajar Masjid Babussalam, Lembah Pinus, Pamulang, serves elementary, junior high, senior high school students, and volunteer teachers who need guidance in using technology productively and responsibly. This community service program aimed to introduce the basic concepts of Artificial Intelligence, train participants to use Artificial Intelligence-based learning tools, and promote ethical technology use. The method consisted of needs analysis, material preparation, practice-based training, mentoring, evaluation, and a sustainability plan. The activity was conducted at Kampung Belajar Masjid Babussalam on Sunday, April 12, 2026, with the results were analyzed from 27 pre-test and post-test evaluation sheets and 25 completed questionnaires. The evaluation score increased from a total of 110 with a mean of 4.07 to 131 with a mean of 4.85 on a five-point scale. The questionnaire results showed that 240 of 249 responses, or 96.4%, were in the agree and strongly agree categories. Participants demonstrated better understanding of artificial intelligence concepts, the use of ChatGPT, Gemini, Canva, and Suno, and the importance of responsible technology use. This program indicates that a simple, interactive, and contextual introduction to artificial intelligence can strengthen digital literacy in community-based non-formal education.
