Abstract

The objective of this Community Service (PkM) activity was to provide guidance and training on "Unplugged coding" to foster computational thinking skills among the students (*santri*) of TPQ Miftahul Huda. The program was attended by both teachers and students of the institution. Spanning three days, the activity covered basic computer and coding knowledge, the implementation of unplugged coding, and an assessment to measure the development of the students' computational thinking. Fifteen students from various grade levels participated in the event. The implementation methodology comprised six stages: 1) Observation, 2) Planning, 3) Preparation, 4) Execution, 5) Discussion, and 6) Evaluation. The results demonstrated improvements percentage in performance across the assessment items: 26.67% for item 1, 13.33% for item 2, 6.67% for items 3, 4, and 6, 13.33% for item 5, 20% for item 7, and 33.33% for item 8. In conclusion, the activity led to an improvement in the students' computational thinking skills when comparing pre-training and post-training results.
