Through this activity, it is hoped that a higher awareness will be created among the community
regarding the importance of waste sorting, as well as reducing the negative environmental impacts
of ineffective waste management. This activity includes training for the community, establishing
waste bank facilities, and comprehensive socialization. The evaluation of the results of this activity
is expected to provide insight into the effectiveness of waste banks in overcoming waste problems in
Pamulang Timur Village and can be a model that can be applied in other areas with similar conditions.
The team implementing community service activities are 3 lecturers from the Faculty of Economics,
Management Department. The service team provides INNOVATION IN WASTE MANAGEMENT
WITH WASTE BANKS IN PAMULANG TIMUR VILLAGE. The results of this community
service are expected to provide effective solutions in waste management in Pamulang Timur Village,
reduce the negative impact of waste on the environment, and increase public awareness and
participation in waste management.
