Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  • If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

Author Guidelines

All papers submitted to the journal JOAIIA : Journal of Artificial Intelligence and Innovative Applications should not have been published or submitted for publication elsewhere. The official language of the manuscript to be published in JOAIIA is Bahasa Indonesia and English.

1. GENERAL AUTHOR GUIDELINES
All manuscripts must be submitted to JOAIIA Editorial using Online Submission at e-Journal portal address: http://openjournal.unpam.ac.id/index.php/JOAIIA where author register as Author by online. If authors have any problems on the online submission, please contact Editorial Office at the following email: joaiia@unpam.ac.id

2. MANUSCRIPT TEMPLATE
Manuscript should be prepared according to the following author guidelines in the MS Word article template. download the template of the JOAIIA in here: Template JOAIIA ver.2019

3. REVISION OF MANUSCRIPTS
Manuscripts sent back to the authors for revision should be returned to the editor without delay. Revised manuscripts can be sent to editorial office through the Online Submission or email: joaiia@unpam.ac.id. The revised manuscripts returned later than 1 (one) months will be considered as new submissions.

3. SYSTEMATICS ARTICLE

a. Manuscript Heading, Font, and Spacing

The manuscript should be typed using Microsoft Word (doc/docx). The font used throughout the paper is Arial. The paper size is A4 (i.e., 210 x 297 mm), two-column format with a 1.9 cm margin at the top, a 4.3 cm margin at the bottom, 1.5 cm margin on the left, and 1.5 cm margin on the right. Lines are one spaced, justified. Page numbers should be included in the text located in the footer section of each page. Use of pronouns such as I, we, etc. is to be avoided.

b. Title and Author

Title typed bold with a capital letter at the beginning of each word, except conjunction. Title consists of 12 words maximum (with no conjunction). The title should be accurate, unambiguous, specific, and complete. Do not contain infrequently-used abbreviations.

Author’s name typed in full name, no title, affiliation address of author. Give ' * ' symbol for correspondence author. Write Author(s) names without a title and professional positions. Do not abbreviate your last/family name. Always give your First and Last names. Write clear affiliation of all Authors. Affiliation includes a name of department/unit, (faculty), a name of university, address, country.

c. Abstract and Keywords

Abstract contain the objectives of the research, method, result and discussion of the research which compiled in one paragraph with essay format not enumerative. No citation in abstract. Content are 160 - 250 words Maximum and write in English and Indonesia.

d. Content of Manuscript

Manuscript submitted to this journal should follow the heading below, except for the review article:
Title;
Authors Name; Authors Affiliation; Authors email;
Abstract (English and Indonesia); Keywords;
Introduction;
Related research;
Methods;
Results and Discussion;
Conclusions and Suggestions;
Acknowledgments; and
References.

e. References

Cite the main scientific publications on which your work is based. Cite only items that you have read. Avoid excessive self citations. Avoid excessive citations of publications from the same region. Check each reference against the original source (authors name, volume, issue, year, DOI Number). Reference use IEEE Style reference citation, and min 15 of reference.
Reference provisions:

Primary reference source are journal, patent, dissertation, thesis, paper in proceeding and text book.
Referral source as much as possible the libraries last 10 years.
Should avoid the using of reference within another reference, popular text book, and internet reference except e-journal and government or private institute.
Abstract are not allow to be reference.
Reference numbering format is [1],[2],[3],…and so forth, numbered according the loading order reference in the script.
Reference citation within text only typed in number (not author or year), example: ".... (Government to Business), serta pemerintah dengan instansi pemerintah [1]. Selain itu standarisasi eGovernmentmenjadi lebih detail dengan mengacu kepadastandarisasi model data dan interface yang akan diimplementasikan [2].... ".
