Pengembangan Sistem Informasi Pengelolaan Konferensi Internasional Universitas Negeri Malang dengan Menggunakan Metode Waterfall

Konferensi internasional merupakan acara yang melibatkan peneliti dari seluruh dunia. Hal ini tentunya akan memberikan pandangan yang lebih luas terhadap ilmu yang didapat. Permasalahan pada sistem informasi yang dikelola oleh penyelenggara. Permasalahan ini tentu akan menghambat produktivitas penyelenggara. Oleh karena itu, fokus pengembangan ini adalah memberikan kemudahan bagi penyelenggara dalam melakukan pengelolaan konferensi yang diselenggarakan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah air terjun dengan menggunakan 4 tahap yaitu analisis, desain, pengkodean, dan pengujian. Pemilihan metode air terjun ini karena tahapan-tahapan dalam air terjun bersifat sistematis dan berurutan. Hal ini tentunya memberikan kemudahan bagi pengembang dalam membuat sistem informasi. Hasil pengembangan ini menghasilkan sebuah aplikasi bertajuk Konferensi Internasional Universitas Negeri Malang “ICON-UM”. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian black-box, diartikan seluruh fungsi yang dikembangkan berjalan maksimal. Sistem ini dapat menjadi rekomendasi bagi penyelenggara konferensi internasional.
