PERANCANGAN APLIKASI WEBSITE UNTUK MENENTUKAN SUPPLIER BAHAN BAKU TERBAIK PADA PT. MEDINA KARYA CIPTA MENGGUNAKAN METODE SIMPLE ADDITIVE WEIGHTING (SAW) DAN METODE ANALYTICAL HIERARCHY PROCESS (AHP)
Abstract
Dalam sebuah perusahaan manufaktur, pemilihan supplier bahan baku adalah salah satu faktor yang paling penting untuk kelancaran produksi serta kualitas produk akhir. PT. Medina Karya Cipta menghadapi tantangan dalam menentukan supplier terbaik demi mendapatkan harga yang tepat dan berkualitas tanpa mengurangi bahan baku yang sudah ditetapkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut dengan menciptakan aplikasi berbasis website untuk membantu proses penentuan supplier agar lebih objektif. Penelitian ini menggunakan dua metode yakni Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) dan Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). Keduanya memiliki peran penting, seperti metode AHP dipakai untuk mengetahui berat utama dari setiap tipe. Sementara metode SAW dipakai untuk menghitung calon supplier yang diurutkan agar mendapatkan supplier terbaik. Dalam menciptakan rancangan sistem ini, pendekatan waterfall digunakan untuk mendapatkan hasil akhir yang akurat. Kini perusahaan tidak lagi khawatir dalam memilih supplier yang sesuai karena penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa aplikasi yang diciptakan dapat memberikan rekomendasi calon supplier tanpa melewatkan syarat yang sudah ditentukan. Metode SAW dan AHP dalam satu sistem terbukti dapat meningkatkan akurasi penilaian sehingga perusahaan memiliki alat bantu yang efektif.
