Abstract

The learning environment is a key factor in supporting the growth and development of early childhood, especially in the context of Islamic boarding school-based education. Al Muhtar Islamic Boarding School in Bogor, as an integrated Islamic educational institution, has great potential to harmoniously integrate spiritual and academic values. However, initial observations indicate that the management of the Islamic learning environment at Al Muhtar Early Childhood Education (PAUD) is not yet optimal, both in terms of physical, social, and spiritual aspects. This Community Service Program (PKM) aims to optimize the Islamic learning environment to support the spiritual, cognitive, social, emotional, and moral development of early childhood. The implementation method is carried out through teacher training, field mentoring, arrangement of the Islamic physical environment, development of creative Islamic learning media, and creation of guidelines for managing the Islamic learning environment. The results of the activities show a significant increase in teacher competence, changes in children's behavior, and the creation of a more spiritually meaningful learning atmosphere. Spatial arrangements such as the Mini Mosque, the Akhlak Corner, and the Asmaul Husana Park provide positive stimulation for children's learning experiences. In conclusion, optimizing the Islamic learning environment has proven effective in strengthening children's Islamic character from an early age, and has become a model that can be replicated by other Islamic PAUD institutions.
