Abstract

A common problem faced by teachers in the learning process is the low level of student engagement in class. Most students tend to be passive, simply listening without the courage to ask questions, express opinions, or actively participate in learning activities. This condition is influenced by the use of monotonous learning methods, a lack of variety in classroom management strategies, and limited teacher creativity in managing learning interactions. As a result, learning objectives are not optimally achieved and students are less trained in critical thinking and collaboration skills. To address these problems, this community service activity offers the implementation of creative classroom management strategies designed to encourage active student participation. The strategies implemented include small-group discussion-based learning and simulations, the use of creative media such as idea cards, educational games, and simple technology, as well as the provision of rewards and reflection activities to foster students' intrinsic motivation. The series of activities includes identifying teacher needs, workshops and training, direct classroom practice assistance, and evaluation of the implementation's impact on student engagement. Target outcomes include increasing teacher competency in implementing creative classroom management strategies, creating interactive learning, increasing student engagement, and developing supporting modules. The implementation of this activity is expected to encourage the development of a culture of active and creative learning as an effort to improve the quality of learning in schools.
