HUKUM SEBAGAI BEKAL PENERUS BANGSA
Abstract
The widespread practice of Hoax, Black Campaig and Money Politic ahead of the General Election and Regional Head Elections has made democracy in Indonesia unhealthy. Efforts to win a party or a candidate pair in the general election and post-conflict local election are carried out by party cadres, sympathizers, and the success team, by justifying practices that are contrary to the prevailing laws and regulations. For this political phenomenon, it is deemed necessary to provide understanding to those who have activities in politics. In line with that, on the occasion of the implementation of Community Service (PKM) activities carried out by Pamulang University, legal counseling was carried out regarding the laws and regulations governing the implementation of democracy as well as legal threats to the practice of Hoax, Black Campaign and Money Politics. This is in line with the purpose of community service activities where this is to provide counseling and legal understanding because in reality many party cadres do not know and understand that the actions taken are things that can be punished in the form of fines and imprisonment. From the discussion and legal counseling activities, it is hoped that it will increase knowledge and understanding of the wider community and especially for party cadres regarding the dangers of hoaxes, black campaigns, money politics, and ways to avoid these things.
