Abstract

The influence of the family is very large on the process of development, potential development, and personal formation of children. Communication between parents and children, the relationship between parents and children, the social attitude of parents towards their children, and the sense and acceptance of parental responsibility towards their children will have an impact on children's lives today, and also in old age. The same applies to children when they enter school. The role and participation of parents is still needed through tutoring for children, supervision outside school hours, or in the form of collaboration with schools. The nature of children who are still unstable and still in the developmental stage is very effective in instilling good ways of communicating effectively and having manners. The family as the first community is a good place to set a good example and example for children. This service aims to remind parents of the importance of communication culture for children. This service is carried out by this Foundation's TPA Media Kita. The dedication method uses lectures with the help of Power Point and discussions with participants. The participants of the activity are teachers. The implementation of activities is self-financed by the executor. This service activity can be carried out well and can achieve the expected goals of the implementer. In the future, further service activities can be carried out in a sustainable manner either in the same place or in other places.
