Abstract

A virtual world user can do anything as long as it is still related to the virtual world. In a free virtual world there is an "identification card" for each, namely IP or internet protocol, which functions as a differentiator between internet users and other users. But not infrequently if we want to access a website, we have to fill out or register with our personal data such as full name, place of birth, telephone number even though the website already knows our IP. With so many websites that have to register our personal data, it is not uncommon for this data to be spread to the public because the security of the website is not good enough so that it is breached or because the website is sold to advertisements. This is actually dangerous because if the personal data is open to the public, someone can find out name, address, telephone number, e-mail and others. So that a hacker can access for example your Instagram account or even your ATM card so that Cybercrime occurs. Based on the description above, the authors conclude that the urgency of data protection in online transactions is very important to pay attention to, especially for students or teenagers. For this reason, socializing and conveying information about the importance or urgency of protecting personal data in online transactions, especially for students and this activity aims to provide knowledge and increase the value of awareness in protecting personal data, especially personal data.
