Pengembangan Website Guru Melalui Google sites Di SMA Al Wafi Islamic Boarding School Depok
Abstract
Educators in the digital era are learning to be able to teach the digital native generation who are familiar with the internet network and various types of technology since birth. For the characteristics of digital students today, teachers must have certain skills. Teachers who master these five digital and global skills will be able to teach creatively and be more confident in the learning of future learners. The purpose of carrying out Community Service activities held in the environment Al Wafi Islamic Boarding School. is to provide assistance to teachers related to the manufacture of media and learning tools based on google sites. So with the Community Service activity that took place at the AL WAFI Islamic Boarding School IBS Pengasinan, Sawangan, Depok, West Java, it is hoped that it will be able to make learning tools based on Google sites. The targets of this Community Service are the teachers at Al Wafi High School IBS, precisely on Jl. Salting, Pengasinan Village, Sawangan District, Depok. West Java. Mentoring is completed in three stages of activity, namely preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The preparation stage is carried out by conducting a preliminary survey to see conditions in the field and determine which teachers will be invited to attend the training. The implementation stage is carried out by providing training using the lecture method followed by question and answer discussions and exercises as a form of workshop activities including by providing understanding and use of the meaning of Google sites for SMA AL WAFI IBS teachers. Furthermore, the trainee teachers tried to create a teacher website. The evaluation stage will be carried out on the results that have been achieved by the training participants by visiting SMA AL WAFI IBS to find out how deep the understanding of the teachers about the material that has been delivered in the training is. The main target of Community Service by UNPAM lecturers is . Changes in attitude that teachers hope are able to make learning tools through Google sites so that from this program teachers in Islamic boarding schools have web-based learning tools. After this training and mentoring activity, it is hoped that the AL WAFI IBS Islamic boarding school teachers will be able to follow technological developments and be able to understand about the development of google sites for teacher website development.
