Infrastructure development plays a crucial role in improving public welfare and accelerating equitable development across various regions, including Serang City, the capital of Banten Province. Infrastructure is a crucial factor in expanding access to basic services such as education, health, clean water, sanitation, and transportation. The analysis reveals that while physical infrastructure development in Serang City has progressed rapidly over the past ten years, significant disparities remain between central areas such as Serang and Cipocok Jaya Districts and outlying areas such as Kasemen and Taktakan. Key challenges include limited funding, poor coordination between relevant agencies, and low community participation in the development process. Development in the field of clean water and sanitation is also uneven, particularly in densely populated areas. Therefore, a more inclusive and sustainable development approach is needed through strengthening regional governance, integrating spatial planning policies, and collaborating with the government and the private sector to ensure equitable, efficient, and equitable access to basic services in Serang City.
