Abstract

ABSTRACT

Improving public awareness and understanding of tax obligations is crucial for national development. This community service aims to introduce tax education to high school students as a means to enhance financial literacy. Conducted at SMK Negeri 1 Kota Tangerang Selatan, the program involved 62 students in a series of lectures, interactive sessions, and practical exercises on taxation. Results showed significant improvement in students’ understanding of the tax system, particularly on self-assessment and personal income tax calculations. Tax education plays a strategic role in preparing young generations to become responsible taxpayers
