Abstract

Nonprofit organizations, also known as civil society organizations (CSOs), are entities established to provide social benefits to communities or the environment without pursuing financial profits for themselves or their stakeholders. These organizations include foundations, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), associations, social institutions, and similar entities. Nonprofit institutions engaged in developing future generations of Qur'an memorizers, such as Tahfiz foundations, Qur'anic learning centers (TPQ), and Qur'anic boarding schools (Pesantren Al-Qur'an), require sound organizational governance to ensure effective, transparent, and sustainable operations. In practice, many of these institutions encounter challenges related to accounting practices and organizational management. Such challenges may undermine donor trust, reduce the quality of educational programs, and threaten the long-term sustainability of the institution. Through the mentoring program, organizational administrators were provided with opportunities to consult on various challenges encountered while implementing the outcomes of the training. The community service team offered guidance and continuous support to encourage the adoption of sustainable organizational governance, administrative systems, and educational program management. Institutions that implement effective organizational and managerial systems are better positioned to grow, adapt, and remain resilient in addressing future challenges. Furthermore, transparent and professional institutional management can strengthen public participation and enhance stakeholders' trust in the organization.
