PENINGKATAN KAPASITAS LITERASI KEUANGAN DAN EFEKTIVITAS PENGELOLAAN KEUANGAN BAGI PELAKU UMKM JAWARA

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a vital role in improving the community's economy, yet they still face various challenges in managing their finances. Low financial literacy prevents many MSMEs from optimally recording their finances, managing cash flow, and planning their businesses. This community service program aims to improve financial literacy and business financial management skills at MSME Jawara through training and mentoring. The methods used included outreach, training in simple financial record keeping, business budgeting, cash flow management, and evaluating participants' understanding. The results of the program indicate an increase in MSME owners' understanding of the importance of sound financial management, their ability to prepare simple financial reports, and their awareness of separating personal and business finances. With increased financial literacy, it is hoped that MSME Jawara will be able to manage their businesses more effectively, increase their entrepreneurial aspirations, and strengthen their competitiveness amidst increasingly dynamic economic developments.
