Publication Ethics

Jurnal Disrupsi Bisnis is a scientific publication that contains research results in the field of Management that have never been published. This scientific code of ethics statement is a statement of the code of ethics of all parties involved in the publication process of this scientific journal, namely managers, editors, reviewers, and authors / authors. This statement of the code of ethics for scientific publications is based on the Regulation of the Head of LIPI Number 5 of 2014 concerning the Code of Ethics for Scientific Publications, which in essence the Code of Ethics for Scientific Publications essentially upholds three ethical values in publications, namely

  1. Neutrality, which is free from conflicts of interest in the management of publications;
  2. Justice, namely giving authorship rights to those who are entitled as authors / writers; and
  3. Honesty, which is free from duplication, fabrication, falsification, and plagiarism (DF2P) in publications.

                               

Duties and Responsibilities of the Chief Editor:

  1. Determine the name of the journal, scientific scope, periodical, and accreditation if needed.
  2. Determine editor membership.
  3. Defines the relationship between publishers, editors, reviewers, and other parties.
  4. Respect confidential matters, both for contributing researchers, authors / writers, editors, and reviewers.
  5. Apply norms and provisions regarding intellectual property rights, especially copyright.
  6. Review journal policies and submit them to authors, editors, reviewers, and readers.
  7. Create code code guidelines for editors and reviewers.
  8. Publish the journal regularly.
  9. Ensure the availability of funding sources for the sustainability of journal publishing.
  10. Build cooperation and marketing networks.
  11. Improving the quality of the journal.
  12. Prepare licensing and other legality aspects.

 

Duties and Responsibilities of the Editor

  1. The editor provides comments on the author's writing so that readers can understand what the author wants to convey, through comments written on the manuscript and / or discussion facilities on the journal website.
  2. Editors provide comments on the author's writing in accordance with the EYD (Enhanced Spelling) language or language in accordance with the standards of the journal.
  3. The editor strives to improve the quality of publications on an ongoing basis;
  4. The editor prioritizes freedom of opinion objectively,
  5. The editor provides corrections, clarifications, withdrawals, and apologies if necessary,
  6. The editor ensures that the author's writing does not involve SARA or anything that can harm the publisher and coordinates the author's writing with the editor-in-chief of the publisher if the writing is a little controversial.
  7. The editor receives, reviews, and follows up complaints from all parties involved in publishing the journal;
  8. The editor supports initiatives to educate researchers on publication ethics,
  9. The editor does not defend his own, author's or third party's opinions that may result in unobjective decisions,
  10. The editor encourages the author / writer, so that they can make improvements to the paper until it is worthy of publication.
  11. The editor layouts the manuscript to be published so that it matches the journal template.
  12. The editor assists the editor-in-chief in finalizing the collection of manuscripts before printing and publishing, especially in terms of language, format and layout.

 

Duties and Responsibilities of Peer Reviewers

  1. Provide objective and unbiased written feedback on the scientific value and contribution of the manuscript to the development of science;
  2. Indicate whether the manuscript writing is clear, complete, and relevant, and whether the manuscript is in accordance with the scope of the journal;
  3. Do not provide criticism or comments of a personal nature; and
  4. Maintain the confidentiality of the manuscript, by not discussing it with unrelated parties, or disclosing the information contained in the manuscript to other parties.

Duties and Responsibilities of Website Administrator

Website Administrator is the person responsible for managing the journal website. Specifically, the scope of duties of the Website Administrator is as follows:

  1. Setting up a journal website;
  2. Configure system options and manage user accounts;
  3. Register for editors, reviewers, and writers;
  4. Manage journal features;
  5. View report statistics; and
  6. Upload / publish papers that are already accepted.
