PERKEMBANGAN EKSPOR DAN IMPOR PROVINSI BANTEN. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perkembangan ekspor dan impor Provinsi Banten berdasarkan perbandingan komoditas ekspor dan impor serta komoditas yang diminati oleh negara tujuan perdagangan. Data yang digunakan merupakan data sekunder yang bersumber dari Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) Provinsi Banten dengan periode pengamatan Januari 2024 sampai Januari 2025. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pendekatan analisis komparatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa struktur ekspor Provinsi Banten didominasi oleh komoditas industri pengolahan, sementara impor didominasi oleh bahan baku dan barang penolong industri. Selain itu, negara tujuan utama memiliki preferensi terhadap komoditas tertentu yang berpotensi meningkatkan kinerja ekspor daerah. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi bahan evaluasi bagi pemerintah daerah dalam perumusan kebijakan perdagangan luar negeri yang berkelanjutan.

ABSTRACT
DEVELOPMENT OF EXPORTS AND IMPORTS OF BANTEN PROVINCE. This study aims to analyze the development of exports and imports of Banten Province based on the comparison of export and import commodities and commodities preferred by destination countries. The data used are secondary data obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) of Banten Province for the period January 2024 to January 2025. The research method applied is descriptive quantitative with a comparative analysis approach. The results show that Banten Province’s exports are dominated by manufacturing commodities, while imports are mainly composed of industrial raw materials and intermediate goods. In addition, destination countries show preferences for certain commodities that have the potential to enhance regional export performance. This study is expected to provide an evaluation basis for regional governments in formulating sustainable foreign trade policies.
